Steve Wymer is the Director of Steve Wymer Mortgages and has in excess of 35 years’ experience in the banking and broking industry. Prior to forming his own business Steve was a highly successful Bank Manager and Mobile Manager for two major New Zealand Banks. Steve has also led successful mortgage broking teams and since 2013 he has been working at the coalface in the broking sector and has established excellent working relationships with all the major mainstream lenders/non-bank lenders and is assisted by his extensive network of property professionals.
Consequently, Steve is well versed with the New Zealand banking system and finance industry. His experience covers all areas of personal and business banking and he works with first-home buyers, families, the self-employed, small-to-medium sized companies, and property investors.
Steve focuses on helping his clients find the best possible solution to their lending needs whilst managing risks appropriately for the short and longer-term.
Steve says, “I really enjoy placing people into property, but it has to be the right package and structure, one that works for them today as well as meeting their lifestyle and objectives well into the future. I listen very carefully to their needs so I can provide great service and make it a stress-free process – and still have them returning to me for advice in the future.” For Steve, after sales service is the key to any long-term business relationship.
